Atoms: A Periodic Table of the Elements is an easy-to-use, interactive periodic table.

In Portrait Orientation (chalkboard mode):
Touch an atom to displays its details on the chalkboard below.
Along with the usual details like symbol, weight, category, melting point etc, use the chalkboard to discover when and who first discovered the atom, the origin of its name, its colour and appearance, what the atom is used for and much more.

In Landscape Orientation:
Touching an atom to display its general details.
Toggle the category and phase buttons to show and hide atoms of a particular category and/or phase.
Select Melting point or Boiling Point and then slide the thermometer up and down to show which atoms melt or boil at particular temperatures.
Use the Timeline to show which atoms had been discovered at a given date in time.

In Both Modes:
Touch an atoms Abundance to popup a list showing how abundant the atom is compared to the other atoms.
Touch an atoms Melting Point or Boiling Point to popup a list showing its melting or boiling point compared to the other atoms.
Touch an atoms Group, Period or Block to popup a list of the other atoms in its group, period or block.
Touch an atoms Electron Shells data to popup a drawing of its electron configuration.
Use the setting popup to change the sound scheme or to disable the sound.
Change the sound scheme via the setting popup or disable the sound altogether.
For additional information use the WebLinks button to take you automatically to the atoms individual pages on wikipedia, web elements or periodic videos.

Shake for Random Atom:
Enable shake for random atom in the settings to randomly choose an atom each time the iPad is shaken.
